Halle in “Rogue Angels”
The Sweet Pitch of Her Siren
By Andrew Rudder for PulpMag.net ~ andrew@pulpmag.net
Look from atop the summit of the prodigious Scandinavian
mountain chain of Skanderna,
Throughout the eastern part of the Scandinavian Peninsula
from Norway to the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Bothnia,
From the northernmost Swedish town of Kiruna right down the
long coastline to the southernmost province of Scania,
Within the town of the Turning Torso, Öresundsbridge
and spectacular parks in Malmoe Sweden,
And you’ll find a winsome woman of all seasons named
Johanna Halle with an acute sense of fashion,
Who like a seductive call to an enchanted garden draws in
the masses to the sweet pitch of her enticing siren,
A woman who continues to evolve and has pushed through the
cut-throat modeling industry thus far virtually unscarred,
Never settling for nothing less than the best and constantly
pressing forward with the experimental spirit of the modernist
vanguard,
More than just a prepossessing model with a professional
attitude toward the art of modeling who is so, so focused,
This sexy lady from the land of the Turning Torso is also
a special teacher and an aspiring sexologist,
Which means she has the tantalizing Torso to Turn heads and
the MIND to teach you ‘wussy yes-man’ a lesson
in verbally escalating sexual tension,
A lesson in transmitting your message on a frequency without
knowing what the signal is; speaking the secret language
of sexual communication,
A lesson in anticipation ... teasing a woman ... like not
immediately accepting a kiss,
Johanna’s modeling career thus far is a lesson taught
by Bill Hicks in anticipating the next big ride like there
is no tomorrow and it all comes down to this,
So when that definitive moment comes that will be the highlight
of her career you damn well better believe that she will
not miss ...

Rogue Angels Interview
By Andrew Rudder for Pulpmag.net ~ andrew@pulpmag.net
Andrew: It's with great pleasure that I introduce to you
an aspiring sexologist ... who just happens to be a damn
good, prepossessing professional model who never hesitates
to passionately push the unexplored boundaries of creativity
and ingenuity within the realm of modeling and photography
named Johanna Halle. Johanna is from Malmoe, Sweden, “The
town of the Turning Torso, Öresundsbridge and the lovely
parks:)”.
Johanna is a very focused and driven lady who prides herself
on making the right career choices, always bringing the right
professional attitude towards modeling, and perceiving modeling
as an art form, while maintaining her mental distance from
it and not looking at fame and fortune as a ‘life or
death’ issue. So what’s her philosophy in life? “Okay,
we’re going for the deep stuff already, haha. As Bill
Hicks once said, "Life’s just a ride". I
like that attitude towards life so I guess that would be
my philosophy in life.”
Johanna has been enjoying that undulating roller-coaster
ride in modeling thus far where she just tries to have a
ton of fun pursuing something she loves while collaborating
with some of the most creative and talented photographers
and make-up artists who embody the experimental spirit of
the modernist vanguard and who have their eye focused on
constantly pushing the creative envelope in every creative
endeavor, which has enabled this alluring model from Malmoe
to hone her craft over the years and progressively move toward
the upper echelons of the modeling industry. So what are
some of the highlights from her illustrious career thus far
traveling around the world on assignment, “Many different
things. My covers, the movies I have been participating in
and some of the people I have been working with. But I´m
still waiting for that definite moment that will be the highlight
of my career.”
So what does this ravishing swedish beauty love to do when
she is not blessing the photographers’ camera lens
and gracing the pages of magazines with the resounding presence
of her prepossessing pulchritude!?! “I love to dance,
workout, listen to music and I have a big interest in movies
and theatre. I also have an exam in sexology and would really
appreciate it if I could work with questions regarding sex.
So ask me anything about sex and I´ll give you a great
answer!”
And other aspects of the entertainment industry that she’s
interested? “I would really like to work more as an
actress. I took theatre lessons for many years when I was
younger and I hope it will pay off very soon.”
And what about after her illustrious modeling career? “I
have a good education already.
I am a special teacher and
as I told you I have an exam in sexology. I would like to
work with teenagers and young grown ups with those kind of
questions.”
Johanna has taken the time out of her very busy schedule
to do this interview with yours truly and I appreciate that
... So on behalf of the Pulp Magazine family whom work extremely
hard to bring our loyal readers the very best in informative
and entertaining content, I'm very delighted to have you
Johanna and it will truly be my pleasure interviewing you!
I hope that this interview will be the first of many with
us and other magazines during your illustrious modeling career.
So without further adieu let's get this interview started
...
Johanna: Thank you Mr Rudder. I’m very glad to be a
part of your magazine.
Andrew: No great journey toward our desired destination in
life is accomplished solely by ourselves, so talk a bit about
the people in your life who have and continue to support
you throughout your illustrious career and as you continue
to make your indelible mark on the sands of time.
Johanna: My family and my best friends have been very supporting;
they are all invaluable to me. Although they have not always
understood why I wanted to work in this field but I’ve
always felt their support regardless of what choices I have
taken.
Andrew: How and why did you get into the entertainment industry
and what is it about it that captivates your mind and stimulates
your creative imagination?
Johanna: I acted a lot when I was a kid in a local theatre
group in Malmoe. It was very fun and I met so many different
people and learned so much about myself. So my goal at first
was to become an actress. Unfortunately this theatre group
ended when I was 17, and I did not do anything about it.
But one day when I was eighteen a man came towards me when
I was walking in the city of Malmoe and asked me if I wanted
to be a model. It turns out that he was one of the most professional
photographers in Malmoe, who had been working all over the
world, and he took my first modeling pictures. Since then
things started rolling and now I´m here with you, Andrew.
Andrew: Being convinced to pursue a career in modeling is
one thing, but actually believing that you possess the requisite
talent, focus and drive to succeed in a very tough, unforgiving
business is quite another. When did you actually believe
that you possessed the requisite intangible qualities and
characteristics to make it in the entertainment industry
as a model?
Johanna: I do not see it like that because the entertainment
business is not a life or death issue for me. I do know that
it is a very tough and unforgiving business and that is why
I keep a mental distance from it. But to answer your question,
I got plenty of self confidence when I was 18 and I was approached
by that photographer.
Andrew: What experience do you value more and attain more
personal satisfaction from as a model: the creative process
behind an intimate collaboration with a talented photographer,
make-up artist and/or designer OR seeing the reaction from
your family, friends and fans as they bare witness to the
finished product?
Johanna: I would say the creative process together with a
talented photographer. I can spend hours preparing for a
photo shoot looking for inspiring photos and such, so of
course it is satisfying when that kind of preparation results
in a successful and creative teamwork with a photographer.
Andrew: Wayne W. Dyer is quoted as saying, "When you
dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the
floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way." As
you dance your way through the entertainment industry, what
has been some of the steps that you enjoyed along the way
thus far?
Johanna: Hmm, he sure is a clever fella that Wayne W. Dyer,
haha. As I said before I believe that I still haven´t
experience the highlight of my career. The things I have
enjoyed so far is all the professional and talented people
I have met such as the photographers, directors, producers
that I have worked with, which have all enabled me to evolve
as a model. Furthermore, I have visited places around the
world that I would never have travelled to if I wouldn’t
have worked in the modeling business. It is those small and
happy memories you remember the most, and I got plenty of
those during my modeling career.
Andrew: You have a prepossessing physique Johanna that is
always accentuated by your artistic poses within your pristine
photographs, so I'm curious to know what does your diet and
exercise regimen consist of?
Johanna: Haha, thank you for noticing. Finally all those
sweaty hours at the gym have paid off. I started to work
out a lot when I was 21. As a model it is very important
to work out and take good care of your body. It’s not
enough to be thin, you also need to have a good physique
to be able to spend hours in front of the camera posing and
still keep that focus. I can share my best work out tip for
all the models out there who are worrying about their endurance
before a photo shoot - get a good night´s sleep the
night before. That´ll work for you - I promise.
Andrew: Why do you think that some models enter the entertainment
industry, attain their 15 minutes of fame and than vanish
without a trace, but others such as world renowned models
like Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks, Christy Turlington, Kimora
Lee, and lesser known models such as Kim Loan and Dawn Rochelle
are capable of transforming their early success as a model
into a long lasting, successful career within the entertainment
industry as business women?
Johanna: I believe many women in this industry have quite
an unprofessional attitude towards the modeling industry.
They are only after the glamourous celebrity life and really
do not care about the work itself. In other words, the thing
that differentiates Tyra and Cindy from lesser known models
is their professional attitude towards modeling as an art
form, and their ability to make the right career choices.
So if you have your breakthrough, be sure to have a good
advisor.
Andrew: Do you place any limitations on yourself in terms
of what you will and will not do in this industry to succeed,
or do you have a ‘by any means necessary I will get
mine in the 21st century’ attitude?
Johanna: Of course I have my limitations, everyone should.
First of all I don’t care about being famous, and with
that attitude you reduce the risks of doing something that
you will regret in the future. I love to work in the modeling
industry simply because it's fun and because it is evolving.
Andrew: My no limit credit card slips out of my pocket and
magically appears in your hands as I finish this interview
with you; what do you buy before I find out that it's missing?!!!
[I know in real life you would have returned my card!]
Johanna: I'm a very honest person so of course I would give
back your card only if it was just a dream. Or maybe not,
it depends on what credit you have on it. Anyway I would
book a flight to Las Vegas, rent a pink Cadillac and just
cruise through the Nevada desert singing to "Sweet Child
Of Mine" over and over again.
Andrew: If I was accompanying you to a photoshoot from Malmö to
Stockholm, what albums would I definitely be listening to
in the car on the trip there?
Johanna: That depends on what mood you are in. I love Madonna
but I also love rock music like Metallica, Kiss and Guns
n’ Roses. The only music I don’t like is hip
hop. That will never be played in my car.
What is your ideal exotic getaway?
Johanna: Mallorca in the Mediterranean. Maybe not that exotic,
but I love that place. Also the west coast of Sweden in the
summer. My grandpa was from Kungshamn so I spent my summers
there when I was a kid.
Andrew: What sort of qualities in a man do you look for and
really turn you on?
Johanna: A man with a brain, and a good sense of humour and
charm.
What is your favorite food?
Johanna: Sushi!
Name one of your addictions? (Something that you can't do
without)
Johanna: Love, Sex and chocolate (unfortunately I can
only eat very dark chocolate because I’m a Laktosintolerans
(Lactose intolerance). The only three things that give me
pure satisfaction. Although I find a nice pair of shoes quite
satisfying as well.
Andrew: If you were a super heroine what super powers would
you want: super speed, super strength, X-ray vision, invisibility,
the ability to read minds or the ability to fly?!
Johanna: I think I would choose something that is not so
obvious, so the ability to read minds would probably be the
best choice. Imagine the opportunities, I could rule the
world with that ability. That would suit me!
Andrew: What is your favorite column in Pulp Magazine?
Johanna: The “Rogue Angels” column.
Andrew: I’m going to say a few words and tell me what
immediately
comes to your mind.
Andrew: Dreams
Johanna: White clouds
Andrew: Change
Johanna: Different
Andrew: Fame and Fortune
Johanna: I´d rather have peace and quiet.
Andrew: The Journey
Johanna: Don´t stop believing.
Andrew: Success
Johanna: Happiness and quality of life.
Andrew: The Destination
Johanna: Exciting
Andrew: What is your favorite word?
Johanna: Mum and Love
Andrew: What is your least favorite word?
Johanna: There’s too many of them
Andrew: What is your favorite word to curse with when your
upset?
Johanna: I always say the typical swedish curse
words that are "Fan" och "Jävla".
Andrew: What is your favorite part of the female and male
anatomy?
Johanna The butt.
Andrew: What does sex appeal and beauty mean to you? Is it
a state of mind and attitude (mental/intellectual), physical
perfection as defined by society, or being born with the
right set of physical attributes that get the teenage boys'
hormones into a frenzy?
Johanna: Sex appeal is about the willingness to hump another
human being because of his or her physical perfection. Haha,
just kidding. Of course it is a state of mind, a mental connection
between two people that awakens the whole spectra of feelings,
all the way from anger to love. When you’ve reached
that stage, the true sense of sex appeal and beauty begins.
Andrew: What is beautiful about yourself?
Johanna: My temper and my sense of humour; that´s what
makes me sparkle.
Andrew: If you had to change one thing about yourself what
would it be?
Johanna: Nothing, if I change anything it wouldn't be me
anymore.
Andrew: For all of the people, photographers, agencies and
companies seeing you for the first time who will want to
gain more information about you, tell them where they can
go to see and read about some of your past, present and future
projects?
Johanna They should visit me on my homepage @ www.johannahalle.com.
Andrew: William Faulkner is quoted as saying, "The aim
of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial
means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when
a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.
Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him
is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it
will always move." When your profoundly beautiful pictures
move again in the mind's eye of people a hundred years later
Johanna, what do you think they'll say?
Johanna: Well, let’s find out in 2110. I hope you will
do a new interview with me then:)
Andrew: Thank you Johanna for doing this interview with Pulp
Magazine and I! We wish you all of the best in your future
endeavors, and we look forward to hearing about your success
in the media as a model and in all of your other ventures.
We would love to have you back anytime! |
