Rogue Angels Interview
By Andrew Rudder for Pulpmag.net ~ andrew@pulpmag.net
Andrew:
It's with great pleasure that I introduce to you a prepossessing,
professional scandinavian model and nurse named Sandra
from Sweden, “I was born in Helsingborg, which
is located in southern Skåne in Sweden, which was wonderful
during my adolescence. I lived with my parents and my big brother
in a villa in a small town about 7 km south of Helsingborg.
I left home and moved up to Helsingborg at the age of 17 and
I have since then lived in a lot of different places in Skåne.
I have lots of energy and I love new challenges. Given my
profession as a nurse, I have been fortunate to find new
and exciting jobs that have helped me develop both in my
professional role and as a person, and that have enabled
me to meet a lot of wonderful and exciting people.”
Sandra
is a focused and driven young lady whose notoriety is growing
so quickly that she is virtually on the cusp of breaking
out into the mainstream. What’s her philosophy in life? “My
philosophy in life is to treat others with the same respect
that you wish to be treated with yourself, and to listen to
your heart. I am always up for my loved ones and do everything
in my power to help my friends, and my family must have it
as good as possible. I never betray a friend or family member.
And I think that we should be for each other through thick
and thin”!
Sandra
has a passion for modeling in particular and the entertainment
industry in general, which has enabled this young lady to
hone her craft over the years and progressively move toward
the upper echelons of the modeling industry. Some of the
highlights from her illustrious career thus far are, “The high points
of my modeling career; if you can call it a career;). I love
to be and act in front of the camera. The different themes
that make you go into a role as another human being, which
is a little like acting ... I think is great fun.
When
you see the results of the images are good ... this encourages
you to make the next shot even better. Working with people
you do not know is very interesting. All of the people work
differently and see things from different angles, which means
that the model will get a broader view and can better adjust
to the working environment. You get lots of new knowledge
and become more motivated to do better and better both
for your own sake and for the photographer's sake. It's
amazing to see how light, body language, makeup, et cetera
can transform images from a mundane image to an image with
lots of energy, expression and feelings.!”.
So
what does this ravishing angel love to do when she is not
blessing the photographers’ camera lens and gracing the
pages of magazines with the resounding presence of her prepossessing,
pristine pulchritude???!!! “I am very artistic and
love to create things. I love music and I love to dance.
I have competed in both motocross and jet ski competitions
on an elite level. I think it is great with the speed and
the excitement, and I love it when the adrenalin is pumping
throughout my body.”
And
other aspects of the entertainment industry that she’s
interested? “I am very social and overall I think
it's really fun getting to know new people. I would think
it would be exciting to work as an entertainer or dancer
in a warm country, where you can simultaneously see and experience
a lot exciting places, and meet new people and gain new knowledge
and further develop as a person. I think you learn as long
as you live.”
And
what about after her illustrious modeling career? “My
goal is to work with what I love: working with people and
making other people feel good. I want to feel that I am doing
something that is important for others and who encourage
me to further develop and thrive. I would like to work in
the beauty / fashion industry in the future where I can make
people feel happy so they always look forward to seeing me
to get service; I want to help them with their problems.”
Sandra has taken the time out of her very busy schedule to
do this interview with yours truly and I appreciate that
... So on behalf of the Pulp Magazine family whom work extremely
hard to bring our loyal readers the very best in informative
and entertaining content, I'm very delighted to have you
Sandra and it was truly my pleasure to interview you! I hope
that this interview will be the first of many with us and
other magazines during your truly illustrious modeling career.
Sandra: Thank you dear!
Andrew: No great journey toward our desired destination in
life is accomplished solely by ourselves, so talk a bit about
the people in your life who have and continue to support
you throughout your illustrious career and as you continue
to make your indelible mark on the sands of time.
Sandra: My friends think it is great fun that I have started
working a little as the model. In order not to talk about
my colleagues who are in ecstasy when they see pictures or
hear about my new projects I have done. Above all, my mother
supported me in terms of modeling 1000% and she think that
it is really fun. Thanks to the PO as I did my first shot
and it taught me a lot of things to consider when performing
in front of the camera.
Andrew:
Being convinced to pursue a career in modeling is one thing,
but actually believing that you possess the requisite talent,
focus and drive to succeed in a very tough, unforgiving
business is quite another. When did you actually believe
that you possessed the requisite intangible qualities and
characteristics to make it in the entertainment industry
as a model?
Sandra: I have always been a bit of a clown who likes to
stand in front of the camera at parties and at home. Some
of the pictures were published on a web site among my friends,
where a photographer had seen these photographs and decided
to take a shot with me and that is how it all started.
Andrew: What experience do you value more and attain more
personal satisfaction from as a model: the creative process
behind an intimate collaboration with a talented photographer,
make-up artist and/or designer OR seeing the reaction from
your family, friends and fans as they bare witness to the
finished product?
Sandra: I value, of course, what my family and my friends
really think but it is also really important for me that
the photographers feel satisfied and they are pleased with
the photographs and the work that we have done together.
I have very high expectations that I place on myself and
I never want to make a bad shot. Some themes fit better than
others but it is important to try to make it look as if all
the themes are a theme that suits you best. This is a lot
acting that is required from the model and every model must
have a good and open dialogue with the photographer.
Andrew:
Wayne W. Dyer is quoted as saying, “When you
dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the
floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way.” As
you dance your way through the entertainment industry, what
has been some of the steps that you enjoyed along the way
thus far?
Sandra: I think it is great to do and learn things that I
have not tried before. To meet new people and visiting different
places is wonderful, and it gives me an extra energy boost.
When we work hard to make ourselves better and better, and
the end result is what we intended; it feels wonderful.
Andrew: You have a beautifully toned physique Sandra that
is always accentuated by your artistic poses within your
prepossessing photographs, so I'm curious to know what does
your diet and exercise regimen consist of?
Sandra: Hahaha
... Thanks Andrew, you are so kind ... I try to workout
every day. I have two dogs that makes me come out and move
around a couple times a day. In my profession as a nurse
I have to do a lot of running between different patients.
I try to eat healthy things but I have a passion for ice
cream, which does not always make it so easy to be healthy
in my diet.
Andrew: Why do you think that some models enter the entertainment
industry, attain their 15 minutes of fame and than vanish
without a trace, but others such as world renowned models
like Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks, Christy Turlington, Kimora
Lee, and lesser known models such as Kim Loan and Dawn Rochelle
are capable of transforming their early success as a model
into a long lasting, successful career within the entertainment
industry as business women?
Sandra: The models you named have a look that fits all and
have a very timeless expression. These women are extremely
beautiful and have great bodies. I think we need to spend
a lot of time and commitment toward perfecting our craft
in order to succeed, and these models do that on a consistent
basis. I do believe, however, that it requires a little bit
of luck to be discovered as well.
Andrew:
Do you place any limitations on yourself in terms of what
you will and will not do in this industry to succeed, or
do you have a ‘by any means necessary I will get mine
in the 21st century’ attitude?
Sandra: Many girls do what the hell they want to succeed
even if it involves things that they do not want to do. I
would never do something that I do not feel I can stand for
or that I would be ashamed of for about 20 years.
Sometimes
you gotta think a little bit before you do something that
you might regret. Back home in Helsingborg, I am a public
person because I work in the health industry and should be
a good role model.
Andrew: My no limit credit card slips out of my pocket and
magically appears in your hands as I finish this interview
with you; what do you buy before I find out that it's missing?!!!
[I know in real life you would have returned my card!]
Sandra: I would certainly have given you your card!
Andrew: What sort of qualities in a man do you look for and
really turn you on?
Sandra: I want a man who is caring, social and nice. He has
to have a love for motorcycles and speed. I want a man who
I feel comfortable with and that I know where to fine, and
no matter happens; he would be there to support me in what
I am passionate about or what I want to do.
Andrew: What is your favorite food?
Sandra: I like many different kinds of food and I think it's
fun to try the different dishes from different cultures.
But if I had to choose just one then it would be Thai. I
love spicy food with lots of spices.
Andrew: Name something that you can't do without)
Sandra: I would not get by without my parents. I love them
above all else. But here I must certainly say I cannot do
without ice cream ... hmmm embarrassing but I am dependent
on it ...
Andrew: What is your favorite part of the female and male
anatomy?
Sandra: On a woman it is the legs. For the man it is undoubtedly
the arms. I love guys with muscular arms, where we see the
outlines of their definition.
Andrew: What is your favorite column in Pulp Magazine?
Sandra: I think it's fun to read the poems about the girls
and see all the model photographs. It is really fun to see
how others work and to become inspired by new ideas.
Andrew:
What does sex appeal and beauty mean to you? Is
it a state of mind and attitude (mental/intellectual), physical
perfection as defined by society, or being born with the
right set of physical attributes that get the teenage boys'
hormones into a frenzy?
Sandra: I believe that sex is an important part in most people's
lives. All people want to feel touched and loved, and sex
allows for a hormone to be released, which makes us feel
happier and alert after sex. Everyone has different views
sex and have different attitudes toward sex. There is nothing
more right or wrong about sex so long as no one gets hurt.
Andrew: What is beautiful about yourself?
Sandra: hmmm yes you know that is not easy to answer ...
I think I may say that my heart is beautiful. I am very considerate
and want everyone to be well, regardless of whether it costs
me blood, sweat and tears.
Andrew: If you had to change one thing about yourself what
would it be?
Sandra: I would like to have not been so impulsive. I would
like to be a little calmer in my demeanor and to be able
bring myself to the couch and read a book without having
to know that I am missing something.
Andrew: For all of the people, photographers, agencies and
companies seeing you for the first time who will want to
gain more information about you, tell them where they can
go to see and read about some of your past, present and future
projects?
Sandra: Other people can read about me on FaceBook where
I update fairly often and I like to talk with new people
there.
Andrew:
William Faulkner is quoted as saying, "The aim
of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial
means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when
a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. Since
man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him is to
leave something behind him that is immortal since it will always
move." When your profoundly beautiful pictures move
again in the mind's eye of people a hundred years later Sandra,
what do you think they'll say?
Sandra: Hopefully people will have the same thoughts and
feelings about my photographs then as they do now. Obviously
technology and the fashion will change over time but the
theme, attitude and expressions in the photographs will remain
even after a hundred years.
Andrew:
Thank you Sandra for doing this interview with Pulp Magazine
and I! We wish you all of the best in your
future endeavors, and we look forward to hearing about your
success in the media as a model and in all of your other
ventures. We would love to have you back anytime!
Sandra: Thanks friend for a nice chat and I look forward
to meeting and talking to you again. |
